Katie is a fantastic designer to have on your UX team. Her critical thinking skills are excellent for creative problem solving, intuitive design, understanding complex processes/flows/infrustructures quickly and is always working toward the best solution. Katie also excels at quantitative/qualitative user research and usability testing, which she then crafts into a clear explanation of results, recommended short and long-term solutions and next steps. She is constantly curious and will always make sure the team gets to the "why" of the issue. Additionally, Katie leads very productive design thinking workshops and hackathons. Her ability to anticipate needs, questions and sticking points helps her prepare agendas and activities that smoothly lead the team to revelations, shared understanding and clear decisions.
